Photo Barn Fun at the Shelter

Forget the photo booth. The Weatherford shelter has its very own photo barn! And it’s filled with everything a hobby dog photographer can dream of: From silly to cool accessories and simple to fancy photo props, it’s all there.

So, over the past few weeks, the shelter dogs have been having some photo-barn fun, dressing up to their hearts’ content. Check out their photos below, and please excuse the muddy prints on the floor – some of the models were just too excited to get their pictures taken and forgot to wipe their paws on the doormat.

Monica was quite shy at first, but once she realized how much attention she was getting during her photo session, she warmed up a bit and started to walk around the photo barn like it was just another day at the office.

Unlike Monica, energetic Lucy didn’t waste any time at all. She was ready to show off her cute puppy looks the second she left her kennel. Unsure of her environment? Maybe a little. But very confident in her adorable appearance.

Opting for a colorful tutu, Mollie embraced her inner ballerina and danced around the barn while Zeus chose to forgo the use of photo props. When your name is Zeus, you don’t dress up.

And he was in good company. Sassy Gabe wasn’t a fan of dressing up either and seemed more interested in chewing on his bandana than wearing it. No worries, the bandana was saved just in time and switched for an actual toy.

Nolan cared more about getting attention than having his photos taken, but he did pose enough to show off his pretty eyes and statement-red bandana.

Fellow bandana-enthusiast Ryder stood out in orange and showed off as many silly poses as he could while also enjoying some playtime.
