Ready. Set. Meet Stanley! This playful puppy was quite shy when I first met him, but those days are over. Stanley is now showing his true personality (with the help of a few treats) and is ready to charm his way into his forever home.

As a puppy, he is almost automatically cute and adorable—check out his photos below and get ready to fall in love! But Stanley has more to offer than the popular puppy looks; he’s mastered the perfect mix of sassy and clever. Case in point: When I tried to lure him into a spot with more favorable light by means of a treat, he instead turned around and went for the whole jar of treats. Smart. But no worries, the lid was screwed on tight… no bellyaches for Stanley on my watch.

Clever, cute, and crazy about treats, Stanley should make puppy training a delight. What’s more, Stanley can be both a comfort cuddler for the cold days ahead and an energetic companion to bring some fun into lazy Sundays. Best of both worlds?!

This combination of energetic and calm is exactly what sets Stanley apart. While he loves running around the yard and playing with toys, he enjoys attention most of all and will slow down to strike a pose or two, snatch a treat, and take advantage of a coveted cuddle session.
