Telling Shelter Stories
If you read the About section, you know that I am currently taking writing classes. While working on one of my assignments, I was told about a dog with a unique story at the local animal shelter and was invited to write about him and take photos of the shelter’s dogs.
Equipped with my new camera, I set out for the shelter for a one-time visit… and now I find myself going back every chance I get.
So, I will use the Shelter Stories category to highlight some of the shelter’s dogs and their stories.
A big thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter for allowing me to come by, get to know their dogs and find my new passion.
